What kind of main image, what size and
where will it be placed?
I want to make my content page to be a
double page spread so that I could fit all the information on it. I want my
main image to be a female, to subvert away from the male dominated genre of
rap. I want to take the image from a low angle to show some sort of authority.
I want it to be an outdoor setting, most likely going to be a park. This image
is going to be on the left hand side of my page. In the middle, so the focus
could be placed there.
What sub images will you have and where
will they go?
With my content page, I want the left hand
side to have the images. This is so I won’t cram all the text onto the page. I
want to have a maximum of three sub images. It’s going to be at the left side
of the main image but it would be going down and it is going to be in a column.
What content headings will you have and
where will they go?
I’m going to have 6 features, 4 regulars
and a subscribe section. This is going to be on the right side of the double
page. The features would be at the top, of the page, because it is the new
article topics which would interest the audience. Under this, there is going to
the regulars in a different section. Also, there is going to be a section named
‘” L’s Latest” this would consist of how to subscribe to the magazine and the
editors message.
What fonts and colours will you use?
The font I am going to use for the content
page is ‘Eras Medium ITC Regular’ on Photoshop.
I believe that this font compliments the font on the front cover. I’m going to use
the same font for the whole content page because I want my page to look
consistent and neat. The colours I am going to use is red, white and black,
once again this is because I want it to compliment my front cover.
Where will the magazine logo be?
The Magazine logo is going to be on the
left hand side of the double page spread. It is going to be fairly small but
still very obvious.
